Delicious meals and warm hospitality
Waking up to the scent of freshly baked croissants was a delight! The owners provided impeccable service, guiding us through local attractions and preparing amazing dinners that framed our stay beautifully.
However, the mattress in our room felt a bit too soft for my liking, and it would have been nice to have a fan to circulate the air during the warmer parts of the day.

The breakfast here was a culinary adventure! Homemade jams galore and warm crepes delivered straight to your table made mornings a treat. The surrounding grounds were a charming vignette of classic chateau life, including an old tower and enticing orchard. Talk about a perfect setting for a picnic!
Although we loved our stay, the chateau felt a bit remote, making evening trips to Bayeux a tad daunting in the dark. A quick 10-minute drive, but those roundabouts can be tricky after sunset. Still, the relaxed vibe made it all worth it.

The lively vineyards surrounding the property add a beautiful touch to your stay. Breakfast features fresh fruit, crepes, and a great selection of other options, making it a real highlight.
A few inconveniences stood out, particularly the bed in the Suite Catherine de Sureau, which felt quite uncomfortable due to a thin mattress. The jetted bathtub lacked clear instructions and leaked water onto the floor, raising concerns about potential damage. Additionally, the absence of full curtain coverage on the windows made privacy during bathing an issue, not to mention you might hear creaky floors from above during the night.

The spacious suite provided a perfect retreat, complemented by the impressive grounds featuring a tranquil fish pond and beautiful gardens. Breakfast stood out with homemade dishes like crepes and fresh fruit, setting a delightful tone for the day. However, the mattress felt a bit worn, and some noise from the floors above made restful sleep challenging. Additionally, the remote location added a layer of difficulty for evening outings to the nearby city.

Our double room was spacious and super comfortable with lovely features. The bathroom had a shower and all the amenities like free toiletries and a hairdryer. We enjoyed the stunning views of the gardens every morning. Breakfast was a feast with fresh crepes and fruits. Plus, Vincent was a great help with local info.

We stayed in a Standard Double or Twin Room for 2 nights and it was spacious with a lovely bathroom featuring an efficient large shower. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The decor was charming and gave a cozy vibe, like being in a home away from home. Just one little thing, the WiFi in our room was a bit unreliable, but that didn’t really take away from our overall enjoyment.
